During the testing, a temperature probe was used to measure the temperature inside wine bottles with screw-top closures.

If a cooler was both accurate and consistent, then the wine temperatures throughout the entire unit should be close to the temperature setting and remain stable while the appliance is running.

Consistency is important because without it, the overall average temperature may match the target temperature, or certain areas of the fridge may be at the correct temperature. However, the fridge could still experience significant temperature fluctuations or variations between different areas.
